As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Incident Response in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor activity, support access control, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain accurate logs and reports for visitors, deliveries, and security-related incidents.
  • Observe logistics and distribution operations for unusual activity, report hazards or policy violations, and communicate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
