As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail center, you will drive and/or walk routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to calls for service while supporting a welcoming guest experience. You will document security-related activity, communicate clearly with store teams and management, and use technology to report observations. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, lost child reports, and customer assistance requests.
• Monitor and document conditions and incidents using written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to site leadership and local emergency services when needed.
• Support access control and traffic flow by observing entrances, responding to alarms or calls for service, and providing direction and information to visitors as needed.
