As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, while providing courteous customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and post orders at a government location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas; document observations and report irregular conditions per procedure.
  • Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor processing and/or directions in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from Allied Universal supervision and/or public responders as appropriate.
  • Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports; communicate timely updates to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
