You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorization where required, and assist with visitor and/or contractor entry procedures in accordance with location requirements.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrols, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and location contacts.
