Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support day-to-day transportation operations by providing directions, assisting with crowd management, and helping address customer concerns while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
