About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service in Sewell, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government parks and recreation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and courtesy. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and program participants by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at public parks and recreation locations.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of park grounds, trails, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to recreation facilities and restricted areas, assist with visitor directions and park rules, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
