About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Coordinator in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license, and offers the chance to stay active while helping to identify security-related concerns. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including following post orders, assisting with evacuations, and coordinating with supervisors and/or first responders.
