As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Alarm Panel in Federal Way, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns, reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and directions while helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintaining a professional presence.
