About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Access Control in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, retail location policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with local management and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related policy compliance.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help address unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or customer concerns in a professional manner.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing shopper and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and assisting with incident follow-up according to site procedures.
