As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support badge and access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
