As a Security Officer Patrol Digital Reporting in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Use technology to document activity and assist with loss-prevention efforts while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, parking areas, access points, trailers, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, and reporting irregularities according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities through accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
