As a Security Officer Patrol Detail in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton qualifications are preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and directing individuals to the appropriate department or contact.
  • Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy concerns while interacting with the public and staff in a courteous manner.
