As a Security Officer Patrol Detail in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic financial institution location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, access points, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor access as directed by site policies, and support lobby and badge control processes.
  • Support closing and opening routines, check doors and other access points, and communicate security-related issues, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in a timely manner.
