It involves a six-month commitment to a designated fixed weekly shift. Beyond the fixed shift, employees can pick up extra shifts through a scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites, allowing for a flexible work schedule that can range from part-time to up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back as needed. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and support badge verification, escort procedures, and/or access control practices as directed by the site.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client contacts, and/or local responders when needed.
