About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol and Access Control in Lebanon, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as distribution centers, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at distribution center, that is currently under construction, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and strong communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Have at least 1 year of security experience or the equivalent.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Comfortable working in all outdoor environments and changing climates.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, screening processes, and/or policy-related questions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support site staff during routine operations and unexpected events by communicating clearly, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and following post orders and Allied Universal standards.
