As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and routine patrols. You will support access awareness, assist employees and visitors with professionalism, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access activity at gates and assigned posts, observe incoming and outgoing traffic, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or other security-related concerns.
• Support site operations by documenting incidents, completing routine reports, and communicating observed hazards, delivery flow issues, and/or operational disruptions to the appropriate personnel.
