About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Compliance Monitor in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with integrity. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain required daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
