About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Compliance Analyst in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Requirements

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual activity, and assist with access control, lost and found matters, and other security-related concerns as needed.
• Support retail operations by observing customer and employee activity, documenting incidents, and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
