About The Position

Requirements

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, production facilities, parking areas, offices, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when required.
Assist with enforcing site policies related to restricted areas, vehicle traffic, contractor access, and reporting of security-related concerns.
