About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in West Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while documenting relevant details and following post instructions.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the banking location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues to help support site operations.
Assist with opening and closing routines, support access control practices, and provide visible presence to help discourage unauthorized activity and/or disruptions at the location.
