You will conduct routine rounds, assist staff and visitors with professionalism, and communicate clearly during daily activities. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or medical facility concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions in accordance with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hospital location, including entrances, parking areas, hallways, and perimeter areas, while reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to help support authorized entry, direct foot traffic, and/or assist with wayfinding throughout the location.
• Support staff during stressful situations by communicating with supervisors, local responders, and/or facility personnel as needed during security-related events.
