As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Lancaster, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Liquor Stores, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a retail liquor store, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while responding to security-related concerns in a professional, reliable manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, verifying credentials and/or directing individuals to the appropriate location.
• Support daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed procedures.
