As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Asset Protection in Stamford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Allied Universal officer, you will support a dynamic tech, media, and telecommunications location through routine unarmed patrols, a visible presence that helps deter incidents, and responsive customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • At least six months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help support authorized entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders as directed.
  • Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate professionally with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and local authorities when required.
