As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Asset Protection in Stamford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Allied Universal officer, you will support a dynamic tech, media, and telecommunications location through routine unarmed patrols, a visible presence that helps deter incidents, and responsive customer service. Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help support authorized entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders as directed.
Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate professionally with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and local authorities when required.
