Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will contribute to daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while helping visitors, tenants, and staff feel supported throughout the property.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or unusual behavior within the location.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by reporting hazards, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and following Allied Universal standards for assigned duties.
