About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in La Vista, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, shipping and receiving zones, trailer yards, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, with attention to unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, helping to support site access protocols and directing individuals according to location procedures.
• Assist with investigating alarms, disturbances, and/or operational issues, helping to deter unauthorized activity while maintaining detailed and accurate incident records.
