As a Security Officer Patrol Alert Response in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior workspaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access activity, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken according to site requirements.
  • Support a professional environment by maintaining accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.
