About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Panel Communications in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and security-related systems, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements.
