As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Albany, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help control access, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, de-escalating tense situations when appropriate, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or security-related concerns to the proper contacts.
