Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, pool and amenity spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points, observe onsite activity, and communicate with property management and/or local responders when needed regarding security-related matters.
  • Support a welcoming resort environment by assisting with directions, addressing unusual activity, and documenting daily events, incidents, and/or maintenance-related observations.
