As a Security Officer Patrol Access Support in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned.
  • Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or disruptions to daily operations.
  • Support a professional environment within a financial services location by communicating clearly with occupants, following post orders, and documenting security-related concerns and/or incidents.
