Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Monitor access to the location and report suspicious, unauthorized, and/or maintenance-related concerns that could help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Complete routine reports and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in accordance with site expectations and Allied Universal guidelines.
