As a Security Officer Patrol Access Management in Everett, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, operational areas, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unauthorized access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and logs, helping to deter unauthorized activity and support site operations.
