As a Security Officer Patrol Access Management in West Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and support badge procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with authorized entry and directing guests as needed.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
