Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer supporting a dynamic parking location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a vehicle and parking location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal and/or site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking areas, entry and exit points, pedestrian walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor vehicle traffic, observe parking operations, and assist with directions, general information, and/or related support while maintaining awareness of security-related issues.
  • Support site operations by checking doors, gates, lighting, and/or other designated areas, and communicating maintenance, hazard, or security-related observations through appropriate channels.
