As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, trailer yards, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to verify authorization, direct traffic flow, and report discrepancies involving badges, shipments, or restricted areas.
  • Support loss prevention and operational goals by observing facility activity, communicating with site personnel, and completing detailed incident, patrol, and/or shift reports in a timely manner.
