About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patient Care Patrols in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as required.
Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and information as needed, maintaining a helpful and approachable presence.
Remain alert to potential security-related concerns within the healthcare environment and communicate concerns to the appropriate parties.
