As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring presence. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, residents, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Communicate clearly and promptly with supervisors, team members, and client representatives regarding incidents and ongoing site conditions.
Assist residents, staff, and visitors with directions, information, and general inquiries as part of providing excellent customer service.
