As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, document observations, and assist associates, drivers, and visitors with clear, respectful communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Control access at entrances and shipping and receiving points by confirming authorization, directing traffic flow, and assisting with visitor and/or driver check-in procedures as assigned.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or operational concerns through the appropriate channels.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate with site contacts and/or dispatch, and monitor assigned systems such as cameras and alarms to support security-related operations.
