Security Officer - Part Time - Colorado Springs, CO Wage : $16.80-19.00/HR Available Schedules : 2nd & 3rd Shifts Logistics Security Officer - Sat & Sun: 8AM - 8PM ($17/HR Fountain) Retail Security Officer - Sat & Sun: 7AM - 3PM ($18.62/HR Falcon) Retail Security Officer - Sat &Sun: 2PM - 11:30PM ($19/HR Fountain) Facility Security Officer - Fri & Sat: 12:30AM - 8AM ($17/HR COS-Interquest Parkway) Facility Security Officer - Fri & Sat: 7AM - 3PM ($17/HR COS-Interquest Parkway) Security Officer Part Time - Tues, Wed & Thurs: 7PM-4AM ($16.80/HR-Downtown COS) Facility Officer - Mon & Tues: 12AM-8AM ($18.11/HR-Downtown COS) Mobile Patrol - Sun-Tues: 11:30AM-11:30PM ($18.62/HR-South Academy)

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
Intermediate computer / technology skills needed.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!

Responsibilities

Greet and aid vendors, customers, residents, client employees, and clients.
Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
Monitor cameras and report alarms in accordance with client requirements.
Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
Provide detailed written reports.
Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
