Requirements

  • Have one or more years of law enforcement experience, two or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have access control and badge experience preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to financial institution facilities by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, access issues, and security-related observations.
