As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access points with professionalism and strong communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy retail distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including exterior areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter access points.
Monitor entry and exit activity, observe for unusual behavior or unauthorized access, and help to deter loss, damage, and/or disruption to daily operations.
Support the location team during deliveries, visitor interactions, and/or operational changes while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions and reporting issues promptly.
