As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor alarm panels and access points, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that works with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to incoming personnel and appropriate contacts.
