Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team that puts people first.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter, paying close attention to access points, restricted areas, and unusual conditions common to an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and/or irregularities in required reports, and report potential hazards, equipment issues, or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
