Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
  • Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management.
