Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site policies, helping to support authorized entry and protect technology infrastructure.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts and documenting observations according to established procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
