As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and support site access procedures for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with location requirements.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate security-related concerns, incidents, and maintenance issues to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
