Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, parking areas, loading zones, common areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity; verify access credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements and document observations in required reports.
Maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly with property management and/or emergency responders, and complete daily activity reports and incident documentation.
