You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, assist with access control, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, substations, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain required logs, and direct authorized personnel according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with established procedures.
Observe and report hazards, damaged infrastructure, suspicious activity, and policy violations to help support continuity of operations and security-related needs.
