As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-focused culture built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-materials-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, process areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries, exits, and irregularities in accordance with site policies.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
