As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to use your experience while communicating professionally and supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting access-control issues.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
